For 2022 Wilson keeps the revolutionary technology of the original version while also beefing up the stability in the upper regions of the string bed. Like the previous generation, the Clash 100 v2 combines explosive speed with spin-friendly targeting and enough power to close out points. Weighted for intermediate players, this 11 ounce racquet makes it easy to scramble on defense and hit groundstrokes on the run. The quick handling is also an asset at net where the Clash 100 plays great on reaction volleys. As with the first generation of Clash rackets, the 100 v2 is defined by Wilson's innovative frame technology, originally called FreeFlex. Renamed FORTYFIVE for 2022, this patented frame technology enables the racket to bend (and soften impact) across a wider geometry of stoke paths, including the vertical mechanics of the modern game. Ultimately, with a slightly enlarged sweetspot, the Clash 100 is an obvious option for players who want a light player's racquet with an arm-friendly feel.

Good racquet, not for meI've been hitting with the Clash for a few days and I can confidently say that it's an incredible racquet. It's easy to swing, very comfortable and provides lots of spin.
Despite enjoying it, I had difficulty hitting a heavy ball. I suspect it's the weight/balance, but I found my shots floating quite a bit more than my Aero and they lacked the power I get from it as well. Even taking full cuts at the ball, I couldn't get it to penetrate through the court.
I think this would be a great racquet for most people, and I may pick one up for feeding balls during lessons. But if you are hitting at a 4.0+ level, you might want to go for the pro version.
Super Comfy and tons of flex/powerThis was a new racquet purchase for me after 10 years of not playing. The Clash is a perfect racquet for 2.5-3.5s that are looking for a nice comfy stick that has some nice pop to it. Had tennis elbow from playing with too stiff Tour racquets but combined with some technique improvement and the Clash, I'm solid again.
Terrific racket for new intermediate players!When I got back into tennis, I pulled the trigger (impulsively) on a Pure Aero without demoing. It didn’t work, and the Clash was suggested to me as a good all-around stick to try. And you know what? It’s great! I’m a 3.0 all court player with a one-hand backhand, and the Clash does everything I need it to. Good power, good spin, good control. Sure, it’s not as spinny as a Pure Aero, as powerful as an Ultra or precise as a Pro Staff…but it’s a truly balanced racket and at my level, I think there’s a lot to be said for that.
One note - it did feel a little too mushy and floaty with the initial multifilament setup I was using. I switched to a full bed of Hyper G Soft at 53 pounds and it just WORKS. Still very arm friendly, but just a touch more spin and control.
Beginners to Intermediate playersI like this racquet it looks very cool and has a stiffness of 55, I bought this racquet to give to a friend of mine that has a 14 year old son that is a beginner but has very good hand to eye coordination and very tall for his age and has big hands like myself and I'm 6' 4" 202Lb and I see a future for this young man in tennis if he is willing to put in the time, sweat and grind of the best one on one sport in the world. I have a UTR of 11.25 and use to play profession hockey when It was a real game instead of the watered down version you see today.
I like this racketI’ve been playing a LONG TIME! Started at age 10 with a Wilson Jack Kramer.
I needed a lighter frame with some pop, and an arm friendly racquet, as I’ve had tennis elbow numerous times over the years. I switched to the Clash Tour when it first came out, but felt I now need an even lighter frame. The Clash V2 is perfect for me. I'm not sure the V2 is all that much different, but this racquet is perfect for me.
Wilson clash 100 v2Love this racquet. Fits me perfect. Weight and balance is great. No wrist pain. I'm 67 and a 3.0 player.
Favorite racquet EVER!At a price-tag of almost $300, the Wilson Clash 100 v2 is the most expensive racquet I've ever purchased. I have played a Wilson 100S Juice for the last 5 or 6 years. I hit a hard flat ball so I like to have a little "help" with generating top-spin. I demoed 4 or 5 racquets (including the Clash v1) but none had the weight/power/control that I was looking for. This racquet hit the sweet spot! Absolutely the best/favorite racquet ever (I've been playing for 50 years). I am a 4.0 player (singles mostly), this racquet is fantastic for a baseline player, yet is capable of amazing nuance when you need to come to the net.
I like to have two racquets in my bag (for when a string breaks). I typically put off buying the second (when I need to buy new racquets), until I have played for a month or two with the new purchase. This one, was buying the second one. The racquet IS that good! I hope they are still making this one in 5 years when I need to replace them!
Great racket for int or adv playerGreat racquet for intermediate or advanced player, but you have to generate your own power. Lots of control and very comfortable, but I’m not a kid anymore, so I’m going with the 108” racquet instead.
Wilson Clash 100 V2After trying several demo racquets this was the best match for replacing my 11 oz. Fischer racquet (no longer available). The swing weight (313) is ideal for me and the frame provides additional stability with a slightly larger sweet spot. Definitely feels like an upgrade for my game.
Love this racquetWent from a Blade to Clash because of arm issues. It's a great choice. Does everything I want it to. No arm pain either. TW had it strung and delivered under 2 weeks. Would definitely buy from them again.
Great RacquetI have been struggling with tendonitis in my elbow for years. I have spent my life playing with stiff racquets strung at 58-60 pounds. I have tried for years to play with a more flexible racquet but I could never find one that was satisfying- until I tried the Clash 100 v2. I strung it with NXT 17 @ 50 pounds. There was an adjustment, but the spin and control is impressive and poof - no more elbow pain!
Good modern frame, easy topspin and comfortBeen playing with the Wilson Clash 100 for 1 month now. I had a lingering Tennis Elbow in my youth due to the use of old players frame in the late 90's and early 2000, such as Prostaff 5.0 95 and Head Radical Ti Midplus, so after a hiatus of 20 years without playing any tennis, I decided to give it a try, and been playing for the last year or so with a Prince Phantom 100P, that I was having hard time to hit on time, was always catching the ball late due to the high SW, and also it was to low powered for me, and then I hitted for almost 1 month with a Prokennex Ki 10, a nice low SW and forgiving frame, but to head heavy for my one handed back hand. And now, with the Wilson Clash, I found a balance between a nice, plush and forgiving frame, good power, with a head light balance and sort of a modern player frame feeling, no more pain or stifness on the arm (knock on wood), and for the last month I've been dialing in my shots, just dialed my forehand, so I can hit a deep heavy ball with no effort whatsoever, and been trying do find my one handed backhand (not there yet). But as for the frame, I didn't find any lack of stability, as long as you hit clean and close to the sweetspot, good for serves and volleys also, good control overall.
I strung whith Solinco Hyper-G SOFT at 40 pounds, and didn't find it to be too mushy at all (perhaps I like a mushy feeling frame).
