Yonex Super GrapI bought a 12 pack of the Yonex Super Grap overgrips in black. I'm not a huge fan. I prefer tacky grips and these lost their tack after one match and would begin to fray and wear out after two matches. I won't buy these again. I still prefer Gamma Supreme, Solinco Wonder Grip or Wilson Pro Overgrips over these.

Previous Feedback

Comments: Are you like me who has sweaty hands? This stuff will heal your symptoms! Don't get tricked by the fancy colors on the other Yonex Super Grap overgrips. These white ones are the truth! I've tried the other colors and white just works better.
From:Daniel, 11/19/20

Comments: Use the Yonex white grip tape, it is much better than the black one. It is much more tacky and I find it lasts longer. I don't know why, maybe it is in the chemistry, but the white works so much better.
From:Andrew, 4/14/20

Comments: I alternate between these and Wilson Pro, they are quite similar in my opinion. Yonex Super Grap has a slightly better feeling, Wilson more durable if you don't mind the color and the drop in tack. One thing I realized is that you should not pull too strongly, they will stretch too much and become less durable; just the right amount of force to apply the grip on the handle without stretching it too much. By the way, on very humid days these overgrips are too tacky for me, so I use dry ones.
From:Laurean, 1/20/19

Comments: My go-to overgrip as my hands get heated and sweaty often. I tried the blue Tourna Grip for some time, then went back to the Yonex Super Grap and realized that I will not be going back to Tourna.
From:Gotham, 9/25/19

Comments: I got the same durability with Wilson Pro, which is a nice grip, but it wears quickly. Currently, I'm more on the Gamma Supreme or Solinco grips.
From:Hernan93, 7/30/19

Comments: Super Grap feels okay, but durability is terrible. My current preference is Prince DuraPro.
From:Rich, 2/26/19

Comments: Over the past ten years I've played with Yonex Super Grap and can't find a thing wrong with it. As others have said, it's got the right level of tackiness without becoming sticky. It goes on easily, but can sometimes leave just a bit of residue (particularly where it gets wet from perspiration) on the grip. Super Grap seems to last for quite awhile, in my experience. It provides good "feel" and doesn't disrupt grips if you wrap it tightly.
From:David, 2/5/19

Comments: I live in humid and hot Florida... a lot of overgrips I've tried can't handle sweat very well. This grip has the right balance of tack and natural grip. It's thin, and feels better to me than Wilson Pro or Tourna. I've settled on this as my go to. So far about 5 hours in its holding up as far as durability... it seems as if I'll get easily another 10-15 hours of play without significant damage or wear. Love this stuff!
From:Daniel, 10/12/18

Comments: These actually feel pretty good but not as good as the Wilson Pro Overgrips. Hopefully, Wilson will consider making one in red.
From:Mike, 10/7/18

Comments: This overgrip is awesome. It's thick enough to be durable and yet hugs the bevels tight for effective feel. The cushioning, tack, performance, and durability are the best of any overgrip I have used, including Prince, Dunlop, Head, Babolat, Wilson, and Tournagrip. Thank you, Yonex and TW.
From:Robert, 8/26/18

Comments: I also was very disappointed in these overgrips. They felt cheap. They stretched a lot and lost their shape by just pulling them snug around the handle. They get weak and tore up in a few hours of play. I'll stick with Head's Presige Pro overgrips. They're better than these Yonex Super Graps.
From:Chad, 6/4/17

Comments: I was extremely disappointed in these. They seemed to only last 2-5 sets before they started tearing on me. Wilson Pro Overgrip is what I will stay with. The feel and thickness of Yonex is great but they really need to improve on the durability.
From:Martin, 4/9/17

Comments: I had been using the Wilson Pro overgrip for many years however, I bought a 30 pack of the Yonex Super Grap overgrip based on the positive comments I read at TW. Not sure if I got a bad batch but the grips wear through the covering in less than an hour of play. My wife and I both play tennis and are having the same problem. Unfortunately the grips need replaced after each match but the fortunate thing is we will go through these grips in a very short time and I can replace them with another brand.
From:Phil, 2/7/17

Comments: I started using these since Wilson does not have this color. I find them very good and they seem to last a good amount of play time. Wilson is missing the boat not having their Pro Grip in this color.
From:Mike, 12/16

Comments: I've been using the Gamma Supreme overgrip because of the high tack, but I wanted to try something with even more tack. The website says the Yonex have "great tack" but in my opinion, it simply doesn't have good tack. It has almost no tack and are far inferior to the Gamma's. I will not use them again. I'm very disappointed with these overgrips.
From:Don, 11/16

Comments: Nice tack, decent moisture absorption, and fairly long durability. I get sweaty pretty quickly so there are some overgrips I can't use, but Supergrap works for me. It's right up there with Wilson Pro for me but it doesn't last quite as long. Overall, a very nice overgrip.
From:Shintaro, 11/16

Comments: I've been using these overgrips for as long as I can remember and I don't see myself switching anytime soon. They have a very soft and comfortable feel with just the right amount of tackiness. The durability is also excellent, giving me about 12-15 hours of playtime before getting worn down enough, though it does maintain a good level of grip and can be used much longer if desired. The initial level of tackiness does fade within a few hours but still maintains a good level of grip onward. This grip is also easy to install with enough pliability allowing you to make a very clean initial wrap around the buttcap of the racket. This line of grips also has one of the best color selections allowing you to create some great looking racket setups. I also wanted to note that some of the brighter colored grips (applies to other brands as well) can transfer onto your replacement grip so if that is an issue you should probably stick with white or black. I have had no issues with having the colors bleed onto my hands while playing however like I've experienced with other brands. Overall, this is my favorite overgrip, slightly edging out the similar Wilson Pro grip for me in terms of comfort and durability and my go-to recommendation for anyone who asks.
From:Henry, 11/16

Comments: This and Wilson Pro Overgrip are the best grips that I have ever used. Just be sure that the grip under it is not leather, otherwise it gets torn quickly. Best paired with tacky replacement grips.
From:Gerry, 10/16

Comments: To me, this string is overrated and not durable.
From:Mark, 5/16

Comments: If you want a great quality tacky grip, this is it ! Don't be put off by the 0.6mm thickness, if you think this grip may be to thick as it is not. It it wonderfully soft and stretch and goes on a treat especially around the butt cap end where quite often the overgrips can crease up.
From:Gary, 4/16

Comments: Great grip. I play 1-2 hours a day and never have any problems with slipping or shredding. They can last me about a 2-3 weeks but I change after about a week and a half because they get dirty.
From:Jason, 3/16

Comments: Good tackiness and a great cushioned feel.
From:Rick, 1/16

Comments: This is the best overgrip I have used. I have tried Wilson, Head, etc. but in terms of comfort, perspiration absorption, durability (i.e. looking like new when the others have worn out) this is by far the best.
From:Raj, 9/15

Comments: Great overgrip! It doesn't last as long as I would like (need to change it every couple weeks), but it is very tacky and very absorbent. The red is closer to pink.
From:Ike, 7/15

Comments: This grip was not durable for me. It lasted only 2-3 matches until it began to wear out. On a positive side, it feels good to start off with. It has good grip and soft feel to it; it's also tacky, but wears out eventually in a longer match. I'm a 4.0 player, and I play 3 times/week.
From:Nathan, 5/15

Comments: In terms of feel and wear, I see no difference between this Yonex Super Grap and Wilson Pro overgrips. The overgrip feels tacky right from the start; thins out over time and due to use; worn out in places. The only difference is that Yonex pack produces more waste than Wilson (so +1 for Wilson Pro overgrip): transparent plastic layer and hollow plastic cylinder around which 3 overgrips are wrapped around.
From:Parv, 12/14

Comments: This is the best overgrip I have ever tried. Durable, absorbent, and just enough tack. It is a little on the thick side, but absorbs sweat as good as if not better than tourna, but way easier to put on the racquet. My all time favorite! I only wish they were a little cheaper!
From:CF, 11/14

Comments: The best overgrip, hands down!
From:Anon, 10/14

Comments: Good tac! Needed to replace it after 2 weeks of use.
From:Tom, 10/14

Comments: Perfect for long handled racquets! I have a AeroPro Drive Plus with a 4 1/2 handle. Very few grips make it to the top of the handle. This grip does so, very easily. I like thin grips, and this is tolerable at 0.6mm (I prefer around 0.45).
From:Long, 10/14

Comments: I would say it's not as absorbent as the Wilson Pro or Tourna grip, but it's still a very good grip. I will try more in the future.
From:Jerod, 6/14

Comments: Best I've tried. Like Wilson Pro but with a little more tack and lasts me about 3-4 times longer. I'm finding my color and the red is more like a pink. Not true to the color on screen. Yellow is, however.
From:Jay, 5/14

Comments: This is the best overgrip money can buy. Not too tacky, but soft enough and very long lasting. Not only that, but I can use the reverse side for even more longevity. Too bad everybody knows this already and the price has gone up over the last few years. Still the cheapest one considering the long usage and quality.
From:Yalcin, 1/14

Comments: This stuff is really the best! Wilson is good but more expensive and Super Grap is the best on the market. I stocked up when they had the package with 4 for the same price as the three. Wish I had bought more than the 7 packs I did. It lasts a long time and even when it looks dirty, it still works to absorb moisture and help me hold on to the stick! Thin but durable. There may be a more expensive overgrip out there and may be some equal, but there is not one better!
From:CF, 7/13

Comments: I'm a loyal customer once I choose a brand, but it takes me a long time to settle on one. I've settled on this one. Even if you don't try another overgrip, you will never be sorry with Super Grap because it does everything you'd want it to do anyway. You can flip it to the other side when you feel it needs to change, if you want to save some money. You'll not feel that the grip is made cheaply. It will not tear on you. If you end up with blisters, it will be due to how the racquet is being used or how often you're playing, not due to the grip. If the racquet slips out of a hand, it will be due to the hold, the position on-court, or the opponent's shot, not the grip. If you feel you need to change it because of moisture, I'd be willing to put money on you being in the top 2% of the world for performance sweating, right up there with Berdych, and no grip will do better for you than this one anyway. If one thing about this grip says it all, it is this: it lasts for such a long time and performs as it should, so well that you will most likely change the grip because it is dirty, not because the grip isn't working anymore.
From:Michael, 5/13

Comments: This is the best grip ever! I used to use Wilson grips but switched to Yonex and in my opinion, this is one of the best tennis products I have ever used.
From:Bill, 4/13

Comments: Initially I ordered these after reading alot of the reviews. I've been using Wilson Pro for years with no complaints. The Yonex feels slightly thinner than the Wilson Pro overgrip. Looking at them side by side, it does appear that the Yonex super grap is a little thinner. The "feel" of both seem to be very similar with the right amount of tackiness, stickiness and softness (for me). What I really like about the Yonex is it seems much more "flipable" to me which really extends the life of one overgrip over the Wilson. After about a month, I flip the Wilson pro overgrip, but the "B" underside (directly against the grip) feels very different and papery/cloth-like, not the same rubbery, stickiness that "A" side feels. To me, both sides of the Yonex feel very consistent and the same. I can play 1-2 months with the "A" side, then unwrap, flip it over and use the "B" side for another 1-2 months. I know we're only talking about a doller per wrap, but why not extend the life of your overgrip when the "B" side is still new and used. Thanks Yonex for making a great overgrip. I still like the "A" side of the wilson pro, but I have switched and moved on from the wilson pro and getting more bang for my dollar with the Yonex.
From:Michael, 3/13

Comments: I purchased these to protect and build up the grip on my Vcore 100S. I absolutely love this grip! Feels great throughout play, remains tacky enough and dry so you don't lose grip of your racquet. Most of all, it's comfortable enough not to cause blisters, unlike another brand that I tried. My son uses this as well on his Dunlop Bio 300 and loves it as well. I've used several in the past from Wilson, Head, Tourna and others and never liked them as much as these. Well done Yonex!
From:Bill, 3/13

Comments: I bought this overgrip thinking I would try out a new feel. I loved how it never lost its tackiness and gave me extremely stable shots. I use this grip on my Yonex VCore 98 and I absolutely love it! The variety of colors is great and they really pop! I will definitely continue to use this overgrip as it is. It is truly one my of my favorite tennis products overall!
From:Ryan, 3/13

Comments: Yonex Super Grap provides you with that tacky, very firm grip, quite similar to Wilson Pro overgrips.
From:Ricardo, 9/12

Comments: I have been using this overgrip in yellow for 6 years. I used a different brand when I ran out. As soon I got my new stock the other brand will be gone even only two or three days on my racquet.
From:Penang, 8/12

Comments: Even after this grip loses its dry tackiness (after 10+ hours,it still regains some tack when it gets wet. This lets me use it twiceas long as other grips. And yet it's one of the cheapest. SuperGrapisn't just my favorite overgrip; it's one of my favorite tennis productsperiod.
From:R, 5/12

Comments: My favorite grip among 9 that I have tried. Similar to WilsonPro but more durable, thicker, and LONGER. The extra length lets you usewider overlaps for extra texture. Stays tacky when drenched, tackinesslasts for 10+ hours of playing time --in the tropics! The many availablecolors are a bonus. The only other grip that has similar tack when drenched is Tourna, whichhas terrible durability, and Kimony Neo-Dry, which is only sold in Asia.SuperGrap is really the best all-round grip I've tried.
From:Wes, 5/12

Comments: I have been using this brilliant overgrip since I startedplaying tennis. It provides great feel and tackiness. I also triedTourna Dry Grip recently as my friend recommended it to me. However, Istill love the feel of the Yonex grip above everything else. Use it andyou won't regret.
From:Tung, 4/12

Comments: I've been using the Dunlop Hydratac and Babolat Pro Tour before and tried this one based on the good reviews. One of the previous notes about the red not being really read is true. It's more like a pink color. Also they are not as durable as the Hydratac and Pro Tour. On the plus side the tackiness lasts for a long time indeed. Also they have a good feel and grip
From:MP, 4/12

Comments: This grip is great if you have sweaty hands. My hands sweat justsitting around in the middle of winter. Even though the grip may stilllook new, I still have to change it every few days or it will eventuallystart slipping. But save for Tournagrip, I haven't found anything thatcan handle sweat like this grip does. But I can sweat through Tournaleaving stains my leather undergrip (gross I know).I don't have thesame problem with Supergrap. If your hands are sweaty, try Supergrap incombo with Prince Grip Plus, you won't be sorry.
From:John. 3/12

Comments: This is the best overgrip I have tried. It is comfortable, keeps the grip dry and has the right amount of tackiness. And it last more than the others I tried before.
From:Andre, 11/11

Comments: This is the grip I've been looking for! comfort, absorbency, tackiness, and feel! And not forgetting to mention the price! Got it in 30 pack white. I used to use the Babolat Team and had to keep a small towel in my pocket to wipe my grip occasionally, but with this, the wipes a less often.
From:Mon, 11/11

Comments: This is the best overgrip. I tried Wilson and recently Gamma. I was very frustrated, my hands are bit sweaty but this overgrip has a feel for tackiness and bit softer. I loved it and highly recommended it. If you are looking for softer, tacky and longevity than look no further.
From:Raju, 101/12

Comments: It feels like a slightly thicker, but less tacky than the Wilson Pro overgrip. If you're looking to buy the "red" color, please note that it ends up looking pink after the overgrip is stretched.
From:Sam, 9/11

Comments: I have been playing with these overgrips in 100+ degree and 95% humidity of Dubai during my vacation and with the grip completely wet from my sweat, I still don't get any slips or turns of the racquet. Great tackiness, longevity and feel! These grips just proved themselves and I can honestly say that they are the first over-grip that work when completely saturated. Way to go Yonex!
From:Milad, 9/11

Comments: This grip is the best grip bottom line. It has perfect tackiness. I have never used another grip and never will. I play everyday for 2 hours and it is still working just fine. Nothing happened to my hand at all. It is just a great grip.
From:James, 8/11

Comments: This overgrip lasts much longer than the many other ones I have tried with the exception of the Wilson Pro overgrip.
From:Randy, 7/11

Comments: This is an excellent grip, with great tack and feel. I absolutely love this stuff and it is so cheap too! Only downside is that this grip gives me blisters. But that happens occasionally but I will deal with it.
From:Anon, 7/11

Comments: I've used Head, Gamma, Prince, etc overgrips and found out this is the best since 2 years ago. Unfortunately, the price went up. I hope Yonex realizes the customer supports are the most factor to keep this product to be famous.
From:Jack. 07/11

Comments: This is a great grip, tack, and absorbency. It's all around a great grip. I got it in orange so on my racquet it looks like leather.
From:Dan. 06/11

Comments: Great grip. Tack is good without being too grabby. Length wraps all the way to the top of the grip.
From:David. 6/11

Comments: Very nice overgrip. Can be compared to Pacific X-Tack or Dunlop Gecko-Tac, the 3 are very similar to each other. The tackiness of the Dunlop can't be topped but gets lost after 4 hours of playing under average conditions. The Pacific one keeps its tackiness for quite awhile but at the same time gets a little slippery. The good thing about the Yonnex is when you notice the loss of tac (6 hours) it remains very absorbent for the following days. The other nice side effect is that it stretches when being wrapped but it's far longer than all the other grips I've tested anyway. Can't compare this one to the Tourna grip cause it's just a completely different kind of overgrip although the Tourna isn't bad at all.
From:Simon. 6/11

Comments: Highly overrated grip. I bought this stuff with high hopes, but I was disappointed. It's an okay grip, but nowhere near what the reviews suggest. It loses its real tack after a day of playing and is a little tacky for the next week before it becomes unusable for me.
From:Peter, Il. 4/11

Comments: I recently went on a grip buying spree, I purchased the Head Supercomp, Prince Duro Pro +, Babolat VS, and the Yonex Super Grap. The Head Supercomp just didn't feel right to me, it didn't have the comfort I was looking for in a grip, the Prince Duro Pro + just didn't have any feel to it, the Babolat VS was slipping out of my hands. The grip I currently use is the Wilson Pro Overgrip, lately this grip has been giving me blisters. This grip is amazing, its tacky but also comfortable, you have plenty of feel, and its just an all around good grip!
From:Jaylen, Chaska, MN, USA, 02/11

Comments: Awesome overgrip. Good feel, absorbency, right amount of tack and softness, and has INCREDIBLE durability.
With most overgrips I replace them when they get worn out. But with the Yonex Super Grap its different, they last so long I actually have to change them because they are too dirty, not because it is worn out!
I actually prefer the colored versions of this overgrip even though black looks best IMO, so that I can see when the grip it has gotten too dirty and needs replacing, otherwise with the black it could be filthy and I wouldn't know it, the grip itself would still play great!
This grip is very similar to the Wilson Pro Overgrip but the Wilson seems to feel a little thinner if you like that, has a slightly softer texture, and costs a small amount more. The Yonex has a better variety of colors though, including black and "dark" blue which is really more like a medium blue.
Highly Recommended
From:Anon, 01/11

Comments: Awesome grip absorbs all the sweat and doesn't get slippery. Lasts long for me, too.
From:Andres, San Diego, CA, USA, 12/10

Comments: Great grip, for all you Wilson Pro Overgrip lovers out there definitely give this one a try! I get sweaty palms and the Yonex for me has just enough tack to keep it in place without being overly tacky- can't go wrong with this grip or the Wilson Pro Overgrip!
From:Alex, New Milford, CT, USA, 11/10

Comments: This is a great over grip! It lasts longer than tacky ones, and here in GA where humidity from May to August is really high this was the best I tried. This is much better than the Pacific XTacky, Volkl Super grip, and the TopSpin black one.
From:Marcus, Atlanta, GA, USA. 07/10

Comments: I really like the feel of this overgrip, and it's somehow durable. But the thing I don't like is how thin the tapered end is. It makes me hold the racquet too low on the handle and it feels bad. Most overgrips have tapered ends that are twice or even three times thicker than the supergrap one. That's why when using this OG I have to start wrapping from the thick end.
From:Ron, Lima, Peru. 07/10

Comments: I heard the reviews, and decided to try it: I have to give it to Yonex. I play almost every day for about an hour, sometimes two. The powder blue gets awfully dirty, but that's due to, oh, the laws of physics. ;) I'm just using a practice racquet right now until I get one more suited to my game style, but even then the racquet never slips out of my hand as long as I remember the right grip for the right shot, and frankly that's what ought to happen. If this is slipping out of your hand, it's one of three things: your opponent, your grip, or your shot mechanics. I was a little nervous being a lefty, wanting to make sure the grip wrapped the right way for me (as some grips I have used simply defaulted to a more right-hand-friendly cut). Yonex delivers. I have not yet had a problem with rips, overlaps, or folding due to wrapping it for a lefty. I will say that after a few hours, blisters may become a slight issue (and by that, I mean you will feel as if you are going to get one, but don't). Even then, the sweat-factor is never a problem, and with my last Head-brand grip I was losing the racquet just from playing for a half-hour. I realize Head grips are really not the most reliable, but Yonex was still a welcome change. Bottom line: I bought two more packs of this stuff just based on the first overgrip.
From:Michael, Riverside, CA, USA. 7/10

Comments: Heard a lot of good reviews from this overgrip so I decided to try it. I was very disappointed with how this overgrip felt. The grip felt like it could slip from your hands easily and did not have a good grip overall. It is durable seeing as how it hasn't torn up yet. I'm gonna stick with my Babolat VS grip for my overgrip.
From:Anon, 06/10

Comments: I personally love this grip. I love the perfect balance of tackiness, durability, and sweat absorption.
From:JJ, NC, USA, 06/10

Comments: Was tiring of Tournagrip's lack of durability so decided to give this stuff a try based on these reviews. In my opinion: Supergrap has superior look, feel, and durability. Let's just say I won't be buying any more of the blue stuff
From:Brad, Texas. 6/10

Comments: I was used Tourna Grip for a very long time, and decided to try a tacky grip that do also do absorb little bit of sweat. I think the Yonex Super Grap is perfect for me. I'm not a sweaty hand person, I have normal hand sweat. It do absorb sweat and the tacky feel is just perfect, not too tacky but tacky enough. And it is way more Durable and longer than the Tourna Grip. Got to get some of the Orange Color :)
From:Sushi Tennis, Thornton, CO, USA. 6/10

Comments: This is the best overgrip I have tried. It doesn't cause blisters like the Tourna Overgrip which prevented me from playing for almost two weeks. I just bought the 30 pack, which is very affordable.
From:charles, vancouver, bc, canada. 4/10

Comments: My only complaint is that some of the colored overgrips stain your hand after sessions. Other than that they are great grips.
From:anon. 01/10

Comments: Amazing grip! It's better than Wilson, and I'm a fan of Wilson. Thanks Yonex for a super good grip!!
From:W.X., Milwaukee, USA. 12/09

Comments: This overgrip is probably the best overgrip I've ever used.I highly recommend this to anyone.Only bad thing is, if you have a light colored grip underneath the Yonex supergrap it'll get stained a diff color. I had a white overgrip under a yellow Yonex one and it turned lime green.
From:anon. Texas 12/09

Comments: Yeah I must say, this is a solid grip! I think if you are out there looking for a grip then you must try this one. :) trust me on this.
From:Andy, Dunedin, New Zealand 12/09

Comments: After reading all the reviews here, I decided to try the Yonex overgrip. I was previously playing with Wilson Pro, and I must say I prefer the Yonex. I find the grip has good tack and sweat absorbency.
From:Jay, Windsor, ON, Canada, 11/09

Comments: The best grip out there in my opinion. I have tried them all and I can rightfully say this is by far the best feeling tacky grip out there. The Wilson Pro comes in second, but just is not as tacky after a day or two.
From:Brett, Florida. 11/09

Comments: I sweat a lot and am always looking for stuff that helps overcome this. Supergrap works great! I get in the color yellow in homage to my favorite player, the dynamo Zheng Jie, who usually uses yellow (sometimes black) supergrap. It looks great on my RDiS 300 and I recommend it to anyone.
From:Brenan, Falls Church, VA USA. 9/09

Comments: I use this for my Babolat pure drive, I love it, even though after breaking my racquet (I lost by a point it was a very important match) I love the grip, even though after using it for at least 3+hours in training it starts to loose the "tacky" surface, the cushioning on the grip makes up for the loss of tack, I would recommend this to anyone who sweats a lot and likes durability. I also like this because of the climate I live in (Australia) It can get extremely hot on the court and I usually sweat like a pig when it's over 30 degrees.
From:anon. Perth, WA, Australia 09/09

Comments: Most durable of all grips that I've used, Even when I'm sweating like crazy the grip performs well unlike the others which is important to me. Tacky at first then lose it pretty quick, but I actually kind of like it when it loses it. A lot of cushion as well, and the price is worth it.
From:Oliver, Virginia Beach, VA 09/09

Comments: Though it is 0.6 mm thick, it does not feel like it builds up your grip significantly. When first put on, it is very tacky and absorbs sweat amazingly. When the overgrip gets dirty though, you lose the tackiness. Then, it's time to change the overgrip or the racket starts twisting in your hand. I have tried Tourna grip, Babolat Pro Team Tacky, and Gamma Dermagrip, but none have compared to Yonex Supergrap. If you can buy a new pack of grips every month, this grip is for you.
From:Anon. 09/09

Comments: The best grip I have ever put on my racquet. I recommend this grip to anybody. My former grip of choice was the tourna grip. But after trying this grip there is no comparison between the 2.
From:Chris K, NY, NY, USA. 08/09

Comments: I have been using Tourna Grip for over 20 years and decided to try Super Grap based on a couple of reviews on another site. Wow! It has more cushion than Tourna Grip and much stickier. The color choices are an added bonus! The orange color makes my RQiS Tour look even better! I'll be using this overgrip from now on!
From:Pascal, Pleasant Hill, MO, USA 08/09

Comments: This grip is really nice. Even after it's been worn out for a while because I haven't gotten around to getting a new one it still grips well. At first now that its worn out it's not that tacky, but after the moisture from my hands is added in it works great again. I'm going to get a new one today.
From:Alec, MI, US 07/09

Comments:These grips are the best! Soft, durable, and tacky. All around I would give it 10/10
From:Ben, Australia 07/09

Comments: This grip is amazing. If it can work for me, it can work for anyone. I sweat like a under-sea mutant. When I am done playing tennis, you'd probably think I just escaped from an exhibit in an aquarium. Before Super Grap, I struggled to control my racquet during long matches, especially on hot Florida days. While serving, my racquet would often fly from my slimy paws. Not with Super Grap. It stanches my perspiration mightily. I tried out Tournagrip, but it lasts about thirty minutes before it starts to fray and lose all comfort, tack, and absorbency. Super Grap maintains these qualities for many hours of play. Highly recommended.
From:Joe, Florida 07/09

Comments: This is the best overgrip ever the durability is outstanding. This is the way to go.
From:Marcus, 07/09

Comments: Excellent grip! I play Squash 5 days a week for about 2 hours a day, and the grip always stays super tacky every time I play. This is a super grip, feels great, very durable, much better than the Wilson Pro over grip. This is the best grip ever!
From:Jorge, Panama City, Panama, 06/09

Comments: I just put the super grap on my racket...feels great. It's tacky and feels slightly "cushioned". The grip was also very easy to put on, and for a dollar a grip you can't beat the price. Can't wait to test its durability.
From:Anon, 05/09

Comments: WOW, this is truly a great grip. Most people have said that Wilson Pro Overgrip is the best, but no way. Yonex's grips stay white much longer than any other grip I tried. I play 6 days a week for about 2 hours a day. One grip has lasted 3 weeks and is still going strong. Plus this grip is cheap. Best grip in the world strongly suggest it.
From:Anon. 4/09

Comments: Undoubtedly the best grip on here. I've tried all the grips except the Babolat. No other grip comes close. I don't see myself switching from this grip ever! Great job Yonex.
From:Josh, Sarasota, FL, USA, 03/09

Comments: Very tacky, very durable, this is my second favourite grip. I prefer the feel of the Wilson Pro. Don't know why Tourna Grip is so popular as it just feels... well... wrong. Would anyone use it if not for Pete Sampras' endorsement?
From:Andrew, Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. 3/09

Comments: This is a fantastic overgrip that will last me about 2 months. I play 2-3 times a week for an hour. There is just enough cushioning and tackiness. I have used Yonex overgrips for years and am hesitant to try anything else. I have dry hands so I cannot tell you how absorbent they are.
From:Andrew, San Diego, CA, USA. 3/09

Comments: I switched from Babolat VS overgrip to this one. It gives me a better feel of the grip and has a better absorption, which is important in my case as my hands sweat really badly. I haven't tried Tourna Grips yet, but this one works for me very well so far.
From:Rafael, Nagoya, Aichi, Japan. 2/09

Comments: This is my favorite grip. I first bought a pink pack because my dealer had a special price on it (not even the girls wanted the pink one). I sweat a lot on my hands and it absorbs great. The durability is just ok (I've tried some everlasting Babolat...) but with the tackiness makes it the best deal.PS: I still buy pink, it's like the bubble gum grip. :)
From:Marco, Araraquara, Brazil. 1/09

Comments: This grip is outstanding, but the RED Super Grap is actually a RASPBERRY color when it's stretched out on the racket. The feel is superb, though.
From:Jeff, Jacksonville, FL, USA, 01/09

Comments: This is unusually cushiony and comfortable for an overgrip. The tactile feed back when you grip the racquet is very unique.
From:Bakthan, Anaheim, CA. 1/09

Comments: Today I tried this overgrip (color white) for the first time. The reason why I decided to try it in the first place was that, after reading all the comments here, everyone says it's the best. Before today I was switching between Tourna Grip and Prince Mirco Tac. I thought Tourna Grip absorbed well, but was neither tacky nor durable. As for Prince, I thought Mirco Tac was both tacky and durable, but didn't absorb well. However, after trying Super Grap today, I agree---this stuff is the best. It has all the above things I was looking for, which are: very easy to wrap around, more than long enough to cover an entire grip, tacky, absorbent, and durable. Thanks to Yonex for a great product; thanks to TW for this customer feedback.
From:Mat from DC. 10/08

Comments: I've been using this grip since I first started playing tennis. And, I sweat a lot and this grip holds up for me. It is super absorbent and even when wet stays tacky. Love it.
From:jay, Atlanta, Ga. 9/08

Comments: Great grip! I have used Babolat Symbio & Tourna Grip for a long time. I can only use the Babolat for one match and it starts to come apart, and the Tourna doesn't last much longer. I read the feedback on this one and decided to try it. I LOVE IT!!! I love the feel and I'm on my 3rd match and in the last set it started to come apart at the end of the last set. So far, best grip I have used. They have good feel and the right amount of tack and are not too thick...
From:Dennis, Burnsville, NC, USA. 9/08

Comments: First off, this grip very absorbent and tacky. I tried this grip after reading the reviews and seeing how good everyone thought the grip was, and I wasn't disappointed. I have been using it for 2 weeks now, and it showing little signs of wear and tear. Great job, Yonex.
From:Dhillon. 8/08

Comments: It's very similar to Wilson Pro grip but slightly thicker, yet cheaper.
From:Angelo, Machias, ME, USA. 8/08

Comments: The best overgrip I have ever used. I switched to this overgrip after running out of my Tourna Grips. The Super Graps are much more durable, absorbent, and they have great feel. My hands get really sweaty when I play tennis, but with this overgrip, it seemed like the sweatier my hands were, the tackier it got. Two thumbs way up for this grip.
From:Jesse, Federal Way, WA, USA. 8/08

Comments: I initially was afraid that this grip might be too tacky, as I'm used to more absorbent grips. However, I came to find that this grip is actually very nicely balanced. Feels soft and comfortable, but still has the tack to keep your racquet from slipping. Great price, too!
From:Kevin, White Plains, NY, USA. 7/08

Comments: I like these a lot. My hands and wrists sweat a lot. These have good feel and the right amount of tack. They feel a lot like the Wilson Pro but last longer. My first choice in overgrips.
From:Rich, Atlanta, GA. 7/08

Comments: Great tack, feels great over leather, and has average durability. My only gripe is that the red looks pink when online it looks like a normal red grip, otherwise, 9/10.
From:Anon. 7/08

Comments: This has the best feel ever. It is super soft yet sticky.
From:Daniel, Bellevue, WA, USA. 7/08

Comments: This is the best grip ever. I like that it comes in various colors and it has soft feel, plus it last along time.
From:Brandon, Bakersfield, CA, USA. 7/08

Comments: Best overgrip, period. no competition. It's thin, has just the right amount of tack, and is great if your hands get sweaty, which when the grip is wet, it seems to get tackier. Also comes in cool colors (I like the orange or lime)!
From:Michael, Downers Grove, IL, USA. 6/08

Comments: A really, really thick overgrip. Put it over a Gamma Replacement Grip, and I played fine, but it gave me the biggest blisters I've ever had, so I took it off and played only with the Gamma. Rather tacky, but the Prince Duratred has a similar feel and in my opinion is better. Not all it's cracked up to be.
From:Alex, Ventura, CA, USA. 6/08

Comments: Typical Yonex quality: Outstanding. Love their racquets; love their grips.
From:Jeffrey, Templeton, CA, USA. 6/08

Comments: This is the best grip I have ever played with. It stayed very tacky for a long time, and I was very pleased.
From:Jack, Dallas, TX, USA. 6/08

Comments: This is an amazing overgrip! I bought the 30 pack and so far I have been using this grip for about a year now. I play tennis in high school so I play every day of my life practically. It is very tacky and a nice feel at first. After about 2 or 3 days it loses the tackiness. It gets to be pretty comfortable, but if your hands sweat as much as mine your gonna have to change it every 2 or 3 weeks. All in all this grip has a very nice feel to it and I would recommend it to everyone who has sweaty palms. Tourna Grip was OK but that wore off way faster than this grip! Buy it!
From:Larry, Cerritos, CA, USA. 5/08

Comments: Far and away the best overgrip on the market. Tackiness in perfect. Sweat absorption is perfect, and durability is second to none. What more do you want?
From:Ivo, Sydney, NSW, Australia. 4/08

Comments: The best grip you will ever buy! I loved the Prince Duratac because of its tacky feel, but it wore away and lost the tackiness very fast. That's when I tried this grip. It felt exactly the same but lasted forever! Buy this grip! Buy it!
From:Daniel, Goldsboro, NC, USA. 1/08

Comments: This overgrip is so awesome! I love how it's comfortable for your hand and can absorb as much sweat as possible. It's very durable and doesn't dry out really fast. I recommend this to those who don't want to get blisters.
From:Christine, Garland, Texas, USA. 12/07

Comments: I first tried out this grip, and it was great. It wears out in about 1-2 months, depending on how much you sweat on your hands. It has a nice soft feel to it. It's also a little sticky. I would rate it a 4.5/5 just because of its life span.
From:Terrance, South Pasadena, CA, United States. 12/07

Comments: I'll start off on a positive note. The grip has a nice long length so you can overlap generously and still reach the top without a problem. Now onto the bad sides. For me, this grip didn't maintain its tack for long. After playing for a day or two, the grip took on a velvety feel that I'm not too fond of. Secondly, the grip feels too cushioned. It gives off a very odd, synthetic feel. Overall, I don't really recommend this grip. However, it could go either way depending on the player. I'll stick with my Tourna Grips.
From:Bobby, Boston, MA, USA. 11/07

Comments: Love this stuff! I use it on my Yonex RDX 500 MP & haven't had any problems w/it coming off during play. Nice tacky feel. I don't agree w/the comments about blisters. I play a lot of tennis & am a hard hitter & haven't had any problems w/blisters (like some of the other comment here).
From:Jackie, Woodridge, IL, USA, 10/07

Comments: Just played my first match with this stuff today. Feels really good, and the tack, next to none. And the cobalt color (deep blue here on TW), goes really well with my Pure Drive Plus from Babolat! good product, I recommend it to anyone who wants a tacky overgrip. A word of warning though, there is a time where the grip will give you blisters. Take it easy for a while, then when it starts to feel better, start getting serious, like Jesse from Tucson said.
From:Jase, Manhattan, NY, USA, 09/07

Comments: I play college tennis and this grip is the best I have come across. I was a Wilson pro-grip guy for 5 years and decided to give this a try after breaking a racket because it slipped out of my hand on a serve. It holds is tackiness for a good bit even after becoming dirty, I keep waiting for my racket to slip when the grip gets a little damp but I still seem to have a good grip. Much recommended over Wilson.
From:Lee, Montgomery, AL, USA, 09/07

Comments: Very good grip, great elasticity and comfort. When I ordered this, I was looking for a grip comparable to Wilson Pro Overgrip...Yonex Super Grap feels almost identical to the Pro OG, but it's black, so if you're searching for a black grip with comparable qualities of Wilson Pro this is it.
From:Anon, 07/07

Comments: This is the best grip I've used. I play 16 hours a week and this grip hasn't let me down yet. These grips are great for long matches and tournaments. I played with Tourna grip but my hands would always slip with Super Grap this never happens, definitely a must buy.
From:Anon. USA. 7/07

Comments: I tried this grip today for the first time, and from the moment I tried it I knew this was the grip for me! This grip absorbs moisture very well, and this suited me as I sweat a lot. The grip was not only moisture absorbing, but it also had lots of tackiness, and so with my strong forehand, the grip no longer slipped. I highly recommend this grip.
From:Markos, Athens, Greece. 5/07

Comments: Been using for several years now, I switched from tournagrip which frayed too quickly. The feel, sweat absorption, longevity, color, variety & price...what else can you ask for in an overgrip but just to rip it! Happy Tennis!
From:Jake, Honolulu, HI, USA, 03/07

Comments:I've used everything from Babolat VS grips, Prince duratac but none of them can compare with the Super Grap. The Super Grap is the best grip I have ever touched. From the 1st touch the tackiness stuck to my hand and the comfort was overwhelming. I recommend it to all and I'm never letting this grip go
From:Martin, Sydney, Australia, 10/06

Comments: This is simply the best overgrip I've ever used. I find that white and yellow are the best colors for durability. Here in the tropics of Puerto Rico they last me about two weeks/12 hours of play. Buy these and you'll use them until you can't get on the court anymore!
From:Steve, San Juan, PR, USA. 10/06

Comments: Great overgrip, I have really sweaty hands and use to have the handle slip in my hands a lot. Problem solved with this product. I like that it comes in lots of colors, but white feels the best and lasts the longest. The first time I wrapped my Yonex rqs 11 it lasted for two weeks of play. Which is 10 days/2 hours a day. My whole family plays tennis now and we all use Yonex overgrips.
From:Ryan, Narragansett, RI, USA 08/06

Comments: This grip does get dirty like Wilson but last longer and is tackier than any other grip. The Babolat VS original absorbs a lot but is not anywhere near as tacky as the Super Grap. I have really sweaty hands and I live in very humid conditions. Best grip out there for sure.
From:Blake, Martinsville, IN, USA 08/06

Comments: Easily my favorite overgrip, slightly better than Wilson Pro and much preferred to Tourna grip. It has better durability than both, and much more tack than the Tourna grip. By far the tackiest thing I've ever used (I have gotten blisters from it). To prevent blisters, I usually take it easy the first 30 minutes I use it, then it mellows out and performs pretty consistently until it's worn through.
From:Jesse, Tucson, AZ, USA 08/06

Comments: Great. Feels very similar to the Gamma overgrips. If you like the feel of tacky overgrips, and don't like Tourna Grip, then this is for you.
From:Ryan, Ellicott City, MD, USA 07/06

Comments: My hands don't get sweaty during play at all, very SOFT grip. It feels very nice in hand, not too tacky. THE BEST.
From:Bill, Iowa City, IA, USA 07/06

Comments: This grip was really amazing, I played a match with it and it felt really comfortable and not too tacky like some grips I have had. This is the best grip on the market without a doubt.
From:Zack 06/06

Comments: This grip used to be much better when it first came out on the market. When it got popular, they changed the product into a grip that is no different than the Prince or Wilson "tacky" overgrip.
From:Drew M., Miami Beach, FL USA 6/06

Comments: This grip is quite possibly the best grip out there if you have very sweaty hands. My daughter's hands sweat heavily during play and we have tried every overgrip out there to combat this problem for her. The Yonex grip is the ONLY grip that works for her. It absorbs the sweat, yet stays tacky. Thumbs up for this product!
From:Joyce, Indianapolis, IN, USA 05/06

Comments: Well, this grip is very nice, it is considerably thicker than others are but I like to feel like I'm getting more for my money. It's very tacky in the beginning but as time goes on, it feels better in your hand, it's pretty soft and absorbent
From:Thanat, Cottonwood, AZ, USA 05/06

Comments: I tried this grip out after reading all the great reviews about it. After using the grip I was greatly DISAPPOINTED. Initially, the grip had good tack, and it felt good. But after playing with it for an hour or so, I got blisters. This is the first time I have ever gotten blisters using an overgrip. I just took this grip off and put the Wilson pro overgrip on; in my view, the pro overgrip is more comfortable, has more tack. Wilson pro overgrip is the best. I don't like the super grap or the tourna grip.
From:Mike, Atlanta, GA 04/06

Comments: This is a very good overgrip! Tacky, also when wet, yet providing some (not too much) cushioning. Good durability and generous length. Simply a pleasant acquaintance!
From:Jonas, Sweden 04/06

Comments: This is a great grip, one of the best grips on the market. It has a tacky feel and a good amount of durability. But it does seem to get dirty quite quickly.
From:Ash, Sydney, NSW, Australia. 3/06

Comments: If you are not a fan of the dryness of tournagrip, then this is the perfect grip. I previously used Wilson Pro Grip, but one day my coach let me try one of these grips and since then, I have never looked back. This grip has got it all. It has just the right amount of tackiness, it is soft and extremely comfortable (especially with leather grips) and it has good durability. It's the best grip out there!
From:Shahin, Saratoga, CA, USA. 2/06

Comments: All I can say that Yonex Supergrap is the best gripout there. The grip has great feel and tackiness when applied overleather replacement grip. It has more stickier feel and tackiness thanother leading grips such as Wilson Pro and Tourna grip. The blue color is my favorite. Also looks better when applied over my Wilson ProStaff 6.0 85. I highly recommend it.
From:Edvin, Boston, MA, USA. 12/05

Comments: This is an excellent grip. It really optimizes your performance is has great feel for perfect control. I strongly recommend this grip to anyone looking for a better game.
From:Garren, Yokosuka, Japan. 10/05

Comments: I really like this grip since it's very tacky and it lasts a long time. Also it comes in different colors. I am lately playing in clay courts, and though the light color grips get dirty pretty easily, they don't seem to change color too much or lose tackiness. Currently they are my favorite overgrips for sure.
From:Virgilio, Italy. 10/05

Comments: These grips are great; they're just like the Wilson pro overgrip. Unlike the Wilson pro overgrip it comes with other colors too. The only downside of this overgrip is that it isn't as durable as the Wilson pro.
From:Dustin, Garden Grove, CA, USA

Comments: I have used these for over 6 months and they are the best - in comparison to Tournagrip, Wilson pro and Volkl. The surface provides a cushioned feel and prevents slip. They last at least a month (unless you use white, which gets dirty easily). Check out the colours this comes in!!
From:KV, Lubbock, TX USA 07/05

Comments: I just bought this overgrip and it is great! I used every other brand and all the popular overgrips like Wilson Pro, Tourna Grip, Gamma and Prince. This is smooth but tacky and very durable and absorbent. You get the best of all overgrips in the Yonex Super Grap. Thanks Yonex for the overgrip and all the cool colors!!
From:Bob Conley, Memphis, TN, USA 07/05

Comments: Thank you for these grips, Tennis Warehouse! They are the best I have ever tried. They are easy to put on my racquet, and last a long time. I used to use Wilson Pro overgrip, but the Yonex Supergrap are so much better because they last so much longer and don't get that grayish look after 2 days of playing. Also I love the price. 3 grips for 3 bucks is amazing compared to most other grips! Thanks again TW!
From:Geoff Walden, Cortlandt Manor, NY. USA 7/05

Comments: Oh yeah! The very best overgrip in the world! It's very tacky and has a perfect durability.
From:Fabian, Augsburg, Germany, 06/05

Comments: This grip strikes a balance between the factors that affect overgrip performance. Comfort is unparalleled. Thin, as to not build up the grip too much and hinder grip application, but thick enough for an above average durability. Tack is just right after a couple plays, and the feel is smooth, but inexplicably different from other smooth grips, such as the Gamma Supreme or the Prince Microzorb. Also, this grip is double-sided; a one-handed player can get 4 uses out of it. While I still prefer the slightly coarse, tacky, and sufficiently smooth surface of Tourna Grip High Tack, this overgrip is still an excellent choice.
From:Doug, CA, USA 06/05

Comments: I really like how cheap the grip is. Usually I go out and purchase one for 5 dollars. The shipping is GREAT! SUPER FAST, I received it within 2 days! I definitely will buy from tennis warehouse again! Thank you so much for the grip!
From:Ben, San Leandro, CA, USA

Comments: This is great stuff does every thing good absorbency, tackiness and durability. It's better than Wilson Pro grip because it is much more durable. This and Wilson H20vergrip are the best grips in my opinion. Also I like the variety of colors that it comes in, always good to match the grips with racquet.Used on a Wilson nCode 6.1 95.
From: Jordan, KS, USA. 05/05

Comments: The best hands down. I tried all different kinds and they did not last but a week. Then I tried this and now I stand beside it.
From: Jason, Houston TX, USA. 04/05

Comments: I have tried several different overgrips, and this one is the best. As far as sweat absorbency and comfort goes, the Yonex Super Grap beats all other overgrips.
From: Richard, FL, USA. 03/05

Comments: I've played with several different overgrips. None have ever matched the super grap. I like it a lot because it is kind of tacky but not too much. I live in south Louisiana and this grip lasted a long time. I suggest you buy one right now.
From: Cody, Patterson, La. USA. 03/05

Comments: It's the best grip, and I've tried many. Very comfortable and last very long. Highly recommended.
From: Leon, CT, USA. 02/05

Comments: For now, this overgrip is my favorite. I tried a couple others, but I like the texture and feel of this grip the most. Also I like the variety of colors that it comes in. I have tried the Wilson Pro Overgrip, Babolat Syntec, Prince MicroZorb, Tournagrip and others, but this grip seems to be the best. It is very durable, comfortable, and absorbent. It has a little bit of a tacky feel, but it is not overly tacky, nor is it very slippery. This grip is the best I have tried so far.
From: Chris, WA, USA. 8/04

Comments: This is my ABSOLUTE favorite! I've spent zillions of dollars on overgrips, and I never really found one I liked. This one has everything! I love the tackiness, it's sticky, but not too much so. The color selection is nice, and the durability is good compared to other overgrips. The price is a really good value, as they come in packs of three. I would, however, recommend the white color if you like tackiness, as it seems to be a bit tackier and lasts a bit longer.
From: Tommy, Columbus, Ohio, USA. 08/04

Comments: I have been using this overwrap for about 2 years now after using Tournagrip for 7 years before that. It is the best of everything. Tacky, even when wet. Last as long as anything else. A little bit of cushion, easy to apply and can be used on either side. One handers can also turn it upside down for four uses. The last time I ordered from TW, any overgrip that said "tac/tack" I bought. Nothing came close to Super Grap. Forget Prince, useless paper. Head was second, by a long, long margin. White and yellow are tackiest and last longest.
From: John, Sudden Valley, WA, USA. 8/04

Comments: I used to use nothing but tournagrip. Now I'm a devoted Super Grap user. I just wish I'd found this stuff sooner. It has excellent tack that lasts even in hot weather. It also doesn't beat up my hands like tournagrip used to. Lasts long, too.
